With fun and liveliness the cutting of the cake of Sea world took place again this year.
The event took place on Sunday 2 February.
The guests arrived on time and were greeted at the entrance by the owner of Sea world and CEO of the company, Mr. Vassilis Tsigaras. The number of guests exceeded 220. The majority of them were the employees of the Karditsa factory and the employees of the local shops of Thalassios Kosmos. It should not be omitted that the celebration was honoured with the presence of important economic agents of the city.
The knife for the cutting of the cake was held simultaneously, and this for symbolic reasons, by Mr Tsigaras with the director of the factory, Mr Giannis Klimos, and the production manager, Mr Ilias Tabakou. It was a symbolic gesture that demonstrates the unity and perfect cooperation that underlies the relationship between employer and employee. The cake contained a golden coin, which was awarded to Mr George Papadimitriou.
After the cutting, Mr. Tsigaras reviewed the achievements of 2019, which he said was the Company's best year in all its aspects. He then referred to the ambitious goal for 2020, which is none other than the expansion of the plant with a budget of 5.2 million euros. An expansion that aims to more than triple production to meet the needs of an increasingly growing customer base. Among the objectives for 2020, is the further development of ready-made seafood meals and the addition of seafood delicacies to them. This is not only a goal of the company, but also a universal requirement of its customers. Customers who trust in the excellent quality of its products.
The speech was followed by a rich musical program and a feast with dancing, which lasted until late in the afternoon.
